During March 2025, Singapore celebrated the champions of its national standardisation landscape at the FY2024 Quality & Standards (Q&S) Partner Appreciation Awards, recognising individuals who have driven excellence across the biomedical-health sector.

Enterprise Singapore’s Top Honours

Hosted by Enterprise Singapore, in partnership with the Singapore Standards Council (SSC) and Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC), the annual Q&S Partner Appreciation Awards spotlighted key contributors to the nation’s quality infrastructure. The highest accolade, the Distinguished Partner Award 2024, was presented to Dr Adrian Yeo, from Singapore Polytechnics, for his pioneering leadership and service in standardisation, notably through the Biomedical and Health Standards Committee and Technical Committee for Biotechnology and Laboratory Testing.

Dr Nancy Tee from the National University Hospital received the Commendation Award 2024, recognising her strong commitment to advancing Singapore’s standardisation for medical laboratories and IVD systems.

Recognising Leaders in Biomedical and Health Standards Committee

In parallel, CoRE-SDO launched its FY24 Partner Appreciation Award to honour outstanding individuals who have demonstrated unwavering dedication to biomedical and health standards development. Recipients include active members of the Biomedical and Health Standards Committee, the four Technical Committees, and their Working Groups—all of whom played pivotal roles in shaping Singapore’s biomedical standardisation agenda.
